Going on Vacation?

First graders wrote about their dream vacation. Summer is right around the corner, and they have some great ideas!

I am going to Atlanta. I am bringing Naomi and Kim. I will go swimming all day. Naomi and I will never go to school.

I will go to the North Pole with my dad and brother Kyle. I picked that place so I can see Santa! I am going to see his reindeer with him. It is going to be really snowy there.

I would go to Iraq. I would bring my grandma and my friend Cheyenne. I would e-mail my mom and my sister. We can play some games like tic- tac- toe and checkers. I like to play checkers. I chose Iraq so I could see my dad.

I went to New York City with Rachel and my Mom. I went to the mall. We made a doll. We got two little pets with our dolls.

Jared, Tyler Z. and I are going to Antarctica. When we get there we will go swimming. I am pretending we’re penguins.

I will go to Las Vegas with my friends Laura and Erin. Mom and Grandma will have fun at home. When we go to Las Vegas I will take them to Disney World. It will be fun.

I would go to the dessert. I would bring Tyler Z. and my Mom. We would go camping. We would bring ten things of water. We would ride a camel to where we would go camping. We would bring a mattress to sleep on.

I would go to Florida with Avery and Ciara. I would find shells at the beach. I would go to swim at the beach. I would go out to dinner with Avery and Ciara. We would have seafood. Then we would go back to the hotel.

I will go to Arizona. I will go with Naomi and my daddy. We will go to the hotel then we will go swimming in the lake. “Tomorrow we will go to the Grand Canyon” daddy said. Naomi and I squealed. “I wonder what our hotel will look like?” Naomi said to me. “Me too.” I said.

I will go to Texas. I will go with my grandma and grandpa. I want to go Texas, because I think it will be fun. I will like it. I will explore the country. I will bring lots of food and drinks, like milk and water.

I will take mommy and daddy to Fenway Park. I will get Jacoby Ellsbury’s autograph. We will watch a Red Sox vs Yankees game. We will ride on a falcon’s back to get there. After the game I will go to the beach and I will sleep there. In the morning I will go the small beach and go swimming. Then I will go home on the falcon’s back. Then the falcon will fly away.

Jack, Garrett and I will go to Florida. We would go to the pool. After that we would go to the game room. We would share all of the prizes. We would go to the amusement park. We would ride on all of the roller coasters. We will go to Water World. We will see the penguins, turtles, fish, sharks, killer whales, white whales, stingrays, squid, and octopus. We will feed the penguins.

I would go to Florida with Cynsi and Kaari. It will be fun. We will swim and play. It is hot there. Dolphins are there in the deep sea. Cynsi, Kaari, and I will ride on some dolphins.

I am going to Maine with daddy and nana. We will stay at a hotel. Nana and I will eat lobster. My daddy gets the hives when he eats seafood. Nana and I love lobster. I will really miss the rest of my family when I go to Maine. My mom will have to take care of my dog Casey.

I would take my sister and my mom to Arizona. I like to go under the waterfall at my Aunties house. Her pool has a waterfall that goes into the hot tub. I want to go to Auntie Buffy’s new house. It is really big and she has a really, really big flat screen TV.

I would take a trip to Florida. I would take my dad. We would see my Meme and Pepe. We would live with them only in Florida then go back to Massachusetts. We would miss Florida when we leave.

If I could take a trip I would go to the Boston Children’s Museum. I would take my dad and mom. We will learn about stuff. I have never been there. I might learn about sharks.

I will go to Boston. I will bring Zach and Jake. We will stay at a Boston hotel. We will go swimming in the hotel pool. It was fun. We will go to the Red Sox game. Big Poppy will get a home run.

I want to go to Australia and I will bring my mom and dad. They might like it. They might like two animals, the kangaroo the koala bear. The animals might be fun. I want to pet the two animals. We would stay in the jungle with the animals for the night. The kangaroo and koala bear would keep me safe and my mom and dad would too. ROAR!!

I would go to the dessert. I would bring Jared and Ryan. We would sleep in a camper at a campsite. We could play game boy there. We would cook eggs over the campfire. We would rope wood together and light it. We will see Aurel, his sister, and his dad.

TZ

I am going to the dessert with my sister and my dad. When I get there I will drink lots of water. It might be 100 degrees there. My dad, sister and I will stay at a hotel. There might be some video games to play!
